PDD ends up guiding the management theme

Managers, business leaders and executives participated this weekend in the last meeting of the Dom Cabral Foundation's Development Program for Managers, in partnership with Unindústria. The training course, which began in June, included modules that worked on the themes of strategy, finance, people, processes, marketing and, finally, brought the theme "Project Management".

The last lecturer was Professor Lúcio Diniz, who, in a practical and accessible way, approached a practical vision of management, from innumerable possibilities that projects within companies can be effective and generate results.

According to him, the last meeting had two specific objectives, which were worked out with the participants: the first was to make people realize the importance of project management as business development through the operationalization of strategies, showing that the projects are real agents of change. The second objective focused on the methodological part and how to manage a project based on a need. According to Professor Lucio, "during the course, we had several issues to be managed: stakeholders, schedule, time, budget, risks and quality and, for that, I made groups with the participants so that they could develop a project from the proposed methodologies. I used during the lesson a group dynamics in which each one interacts with the other participants, so that in the end they perceive a project as a whole, with the variations and implications, "he said. For the teacher, the project management is to make things happen, so this last module of the PDD interconnects all other subjects dealt with, because "project" is a means to enable the strategies and business strategy, according to him, involves human resources, maketing, finance, processes and so on, and the purpose of the PDD is to give insight into the whole.

For Walmir Badalotti, CEO, this module surpassed expectations, as it brought into practice the conceptual and pragmatic foundations needed to manage projects in organizations, methods, techniques, tools and tools, always aiming at the sustainable evolution of the company . For him, the PDD closes positively. "In this program we seek an integration between the contents of the six management fields, with a focus essentially practical and applied to the day to day reality of companies and their managers. Based on the basic contents, linked to the quality of the management and the contents of support and optimization, we certainly finish our course bringing to our day to day improvement in the performance and excellence of the companies.
