Management of people: neuroscience strategies applied to HR

On the morning of this Thursday, the 30th, we have concluded a series of lectures held during this year, aimed at the Human Resources professionals of the companies associated with Unindústria. In this last meeting, psychologist and coach Aline Miranda Dotta worked on the theme "People Management - Neuroscience Strategies Applied to HR". The morning started lively and full of knowledge. With a different experience of relaxation and integration, Aline applied a group dynamics called "chart", which aims to transform the state of learning from passive to active. In addition, she gave several tips for professionals to put into practice in their work environments, with the goal of making it ever better and pleasurable. For this to become effective, Aline highlighted some ways in which the brain can act positively. According to her, we can switch from several actions, such as: sunbathing, since luminosity interferes directly in the production of chemicals to activate our system; listen to music, because this action is linked to memory, and when we listen to music we can relive situations; ingest chocolate as it is a powerful asset to put the brain into positive mode and, finally, to practice the practice of gratitude. "When we thank you, we shoot positive chemicals in our body. While HR, when we talk about the brain, we direct our speech to the professionals and to whom we will receive within the industry. These are techniques that have to be put into practice with us and with the people we work with. We should encourage people to thank at least three things a day, as well as see the good things they do at work, because the tendency is always to see what is bad, "he said. Another effective strategy is to promote a better workplace by stimulating a rewarding environment, because when you are in a threatening environment, it makes fear turn focus. And when people are scared, the body and heart get agitated, as well as the physiology changes. According to Aline, in an environment of threats, whether through the exchange of manager, system change, crisis, etc., it stimulates an environment of fear, in which it is impossible to deliver the demands that one has. In this way, positive praise and feedback are important in a work environment, making the worker a systemic vision, focused on possibilities and not problems.
