Brazil against corruption

On Monday, October 1, Unindústria participated, together with the Social Observatory of Erechim, the lecture "United Against Corruption", which took place in the FAE auditorium. A few days before the election, the priority is to unite Brazil in the fight against corruption. In a non-partisan way, this campaign aims to implement new measures against corruption. A large number of experts have studied a platform for legislative, administrative and institutional reforms aimed at providing necessary solutions in Brazil. In recent years, in Brazil, the criminal relationships that have been established for decades between companies and political agents have been exposed.
At the same time, we are witnessing the opening of a promising window of opportunity to improve mechanisms for controlling corruption. Unfortunately, the public debate initiated by the set of proposals known as "Ten Measures Against Corruption" was early closed in the National Congress, without approval that the society had mobilized for them to occur.
Concerned about the levels of corruption in the country and its effects on Brazilian society, the proposal for measures to be assessed and approved was launched. The proposals that were born have sought to revise by offering draft bills, administrative acts and constitutional amendments, as well as adding new perspectives and content for a renewed anti-corruption reform agenda.
In Erechim, the Social Observatory is responsible for organizing acts, actions and debates, orienting people on the systemic causes of corruption and offering permanent solutions to their long-term coping. In this sense, so important when the pre-election, is the post, in which citizens should continue to monitor who elected. According to Belonice Sotoriva, OS vice president, "the campaign does not end in the election. It is important that people continue, after the first and second round, if any, requiring their elected candidates to commit to the 70 measures. Keep pressing the elect to adhere to the new measures, it is our right. "
